A number of customers have experienced an issue after updating/deleting a website account, that it looks like the content of your website has disappeared. All Announcements and Events have changed to “N/A”. In reality your website content is still there it is just a display issue that is causing it not to show. Either way it can still be very disturbing to see !

This bug has plagued us since our service was launched. We have put a significant number of hours trying to determine what causes it. We could never consistently repeat the problem and therefore could not create a fix for it.

Last week with the help of two customers we finally found out how to replicate the issue. The issue occurs when two people are trying to update the same website account at the same time. The first one that “clicks” the update changes the record. The second one gets a blank record because the first one is updating it and the system “freaks out”. We applied a sedative so that when two people try to update the same record the system doesn’t get so nervous – i.e. the problem has been fixed.
