Service Announcement - EBlasts from Sunday (1/3/2010)SOAR Customers, It is our policy to provide you with notification of any issue that has interrupted service to your website. We do this to ensure good communication with our customers and to make you aware of the issue so you can answer questions raised by your unit members. EBlast Any scheduled EBlasts for Sunday (1/3/2010) did not go out automatically yesterday. An additional error was found in the EBlast scheduling logic that deals with end of year wrap around. This effectively prevented any EBlasts from going out on the first day (Sunday) of the new calendar week. The logic has been corrected so that the problem will not occur at the end of next year and the remaining EBlasts for this week will go out as normal. At 11AM EST on Monday (1/4/2010) we manually initiated EBlasts for sites that were scheduled for Sunday, to make up for the fact that they did not go out automatically. We exclude those sites that had already done an EBlast Now manually so there would not be duplicate EBlasts sent. Do I need to do anything? You do not need to do anything. If your EBlast is scheduled for Sunday and you had not already done a manual EBlast Now, your EBlast went out at 11AM EST today (Monday).
